Whanau and children are my passion. I come from a ECE teaching background. Taking on the admin role at Living Well was a new direction for me and a change I really needed. Self development and maintaining well-being are very important pursuits for me. I am a solo mama to a beautiful daughter; she is my taonga and this has been the drive behind my "why", and recognising my ability to empower whanau and children as a collective.
Human beings are important, you are important no matter what your story is or what background you have come from to arrive here - it's all important. reach out and be courageous, there is HOPE that better things are coming.
COUNSELLING & ADDICTIONS Trainee Intern
Bridget Cameron
Kia ora, I’m Bridget and I am a trainee intern entering my final year of the Bachelor of Counselling and Addiction Services degree through Weltec/Te Pūkenga.
I am pleased to be doing a second year of clinical placement here at Living Well as it is a wonderful, inclusive and supportive environment to learn and grow for clients and staff alike.
I have always been drawn to counselling and psychology and enjoy working with people from all walks of life with a non-judgemental, open-minded and empathic approach. Having been through many of the ups and downs that life brings I believe having a safe space to share your thoughts, talk through issues and learn new skills is a valuable and courageous step to take for yourself. Noho ora mai.
COUNSELLOR
Victoria Dol
Welcome, my name is Victoria (she/her) and I am a qualified counsellor here at Living Well working with women of all ages.
The counselling I provide is trauma-informed and is founded on person-centred approaches to therapy. I believe that in order to heal and make sense of the struggles, pain, loss, and trauma we've faced in our lives, we need to reconnect back to our whole selves: to the rejected and protective parts, to the feelings not yet allowed, owned or understood, to our bodies - the seat of our innate sense of power, purpose, goodness, and direction.
I will support you to do this by being present to you and providing you with a safe, therapeutic environment that is empathetic, accepting, and sensitive, where you will be seen and heard and have complete autonomy. This environment, together with some additional tools (e.g. somatic, parts work, attachment, grief work, existential therapy, psychoeducation), used collaboratively with you, will help to foster your movement toward health, wholeness, and greater freedom. I would love to walk with you in this new healing chapter of your journey.

Susie Davie
I am currently working towards a counselling degree at Bethlehem Tertiary Institute. I have come from
a social work background. I spent twelve years working for the Department of Corrections. I have
been trained in person-centred therapy and will begin my CBT training this year. I have two adult
children, two step children and my husband.
My promise to my client is to listen to you as you retell your story, supporting you as you make sense
of it. I will sit with you as your answers emerge, strength returns and your journey moving forward
unfolds. I will ensure you are comfortable and feel safe and in control of the session.

Aaron Kenny
Kia ora koutou katoa,
My name is Aaron, and I am currently studying toward a Bachelor of Counselling and Addiction Practice through Weltec. I grew up in and around Levin, and it's great to have the opportunity to give back to the community. I've worked in many different roles, from horticulture, to logistics, to teaching English abroad. This has brought me into contact with people from a variety of ages and walks of life. I look forward to drawing on these experiences and others, and to develop further as a trainee counsellor while fostering an empathetic and non-judgemental environment for you, the client, working together with you to achieve what you are hoping to accomplish from your counselling journey.

Sally Campbell
My journey through life has led me to this particular place and time, learning the skills and
processes to interact and help others help themselves. Through the communication of
lived experiences by the client, and then through the joint communication between client
and therapist, awareness of the inner self and understanding of the world develop, and
enable a creative response to the current situation. My counselling approach is person
centred, where a safe, inclusive, collaborative, therapeutic relationship is nurtured and
where the client’s view of the world is accepted as a natural response to their unique mix
of experience and cultural diversity.
I am studying for a Bachelor in Counselling and Addiction Practice at Weltec in Porirua.
